Today, Aug. 15, under the mediation and supervision of the
International Committee of the Red Cross, 10 patients, along with their
attendants, were transferred to RA specialty hospitals from the Republican
Medical Center of Artsakh Ministry of Health. The patients are undergoing a
course of in-center haemodialysis, the Ministry of Health of the Republic
of Artsakh reports.
Seven patients are expected to return to Artsakh with their
attendants in ICRC vehicles today. They were transferred to the Republic of
Armenia to receive state-funded treatment.
To remind, there were 41 haemodialysis patients in Artsakh.
Nineteen of them were evacuated within the past few days. Although everyone was
offered the opportunity of evacuation, 12 of the 41 patients refused to leave
Artsakh. Their lives are at stake.
