Today, Aug. 9, under the mediation and supervision of the
International Committee of the Red Cross, 10 patients, along with their
attendants, were transferred to RA specialty hospitals from the Republican
Medical Center of Artsakh Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Health of the
Republic of Artsakh reports.
These 10 patients are undergoing a course of in-center
hemodialysis. However, they are not provided with the necessary medical care on
account of the shortage of medicines and medical supplies and are met with a
threat of death as a result.
Nine patients are expected to return to Artsakh with their
attendants in ICRC vehicles today. They were transferred to the Republic of
Armenia to receive state-funded treatment.
