September 19 declared Day of Forced Displacement and Claims

By a decision of the National Assembly of the Republic of Artsakh, September 19 has been designated as the Day of Forced Displacement and Claims.” The corresponding amendment has been introduced to the Artsakh law on “Holidays and Memorial Days.”

On Sept. 19, 2023, Azerbaijan launched a military offensive against Artsakh. Following a one-day operation, the Armenian population of Artsakh was displaced.
