Acting DCM for the U.S. Embasssy John Allelo visited the
Syunik Province with the representatives of the diplomatic corps. Displaced
persons and regional leaders presented him with the suffering caused by the
continued blockade of the Lachin corridor, the U.S. Embassy in Armenia reports.
“We reiterate Secretary Blinken’s call for an immediate
reopening of the corridor to commercial and private traffic,” reads the
statement.
