Personalities of Armenian show business made posts on their
social media accounts, trying to draw the attention of international
organizations to the humanitarian crisis in Artsakh.
Turning to international organizations, musician Garik
Papoyan wrote: “I realize that you may be tired of being reminded of the
same issue all the time. However, this approach does not tackle the issue. It
does not alleviate the suffering of the people there in Artsakh. I call on the
international community to take on responsibility and facilitate the delivery
of food and medical supplies to Artsakh. You should know that by giving Artsak
the right to live, you emphasize the importance of your own existence.”
Singer Iveta Mukuchyan referred to the necessity of opening
the Lachin corridor. She noted that the sole road connecting Artsakh to Armenia
has been blocked for more than seven months.
“Thirty thousand children, 20,000 elderly people, 9,000
people with disabilities and 2,000 pregnant women seek help. However, the world
keeps silent,” she wrote.
Singer Sona Rubenyan posted a video with similar content,
tagging international organizations.
“Dear people of Artsakh, we are with you,” the
singer concluded her speech.
Aram MP3 issued a call as well.
Singers Armenchik and Arman Hovhannisyan posted photos with
posters reading “Let us stand by Artsakh”.
