Pregnant women in Artsakh are in the high-risk group on
account of malnourishment. Expectant mothers need nutrients. Doctors advise
them to take vitamin pills to make up for the deficiency. However, these pills
are just supplements and cannot replace food.
Within the last month, the rate of miscarriage incidents in
early pregnancy has increased by almost three times. The doctor is sure that
Azerbaijan’s aim is genocide against newborns in the first place. As for the
world and international organizations, they remain silent.
Mothers do not get proper nourishment and do not have breast
milk for their newborns. There are no infant formulas in pharmacies. The lives
of pregnant women and especially those of newborns are at stake.
