Armenian-Azerbaijani border delimitation commissions’ meeting schedule approved
The RA Government has approved the schedule of sessions and joint meetings between the Commission on Delimitation and Border Security of the State Border between Armenia and Azerbaijan and the State Commission on the Delimitation of the State Border between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan said the adopted document is meant to address organizational issues. At the next stage, they are going to draw up a document describing the methodology.
“We should define what we understand by saying maps and legally binding documents,” Grigoryan said, adding that this is an issue of paramount importance.
In response, Nikol Pashinyan said, “The border delimitation process is, for the first time, being built on an institutional basis, and this is very important.”
