Zakharova: The 3+3 is a mechanism for achieving peace and stability in the South Caucasus
The 3+3 consultative regional platform is an effective mechanism for coordinating the efforts of representatives of the region to achieve peace and stability in the South Caucasus and the Middle East, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova said at a weekly press briefing.
She noted that on Oct. 17–18, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will be in Istanbul to attend the meeting in this format.
“This format is also an opportunity to promote mutually beneficial cooperation in the trade-economic, transport-logistics, and cultural-humanitarian spheres,” Zakharova noted.
