The involvement of the North Atlantic Alliance in the Ukrainian conflict will lead to a disaster; such a development must be prevented, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said at a joint press conference after the meeting with U.S. President Joe Biden in Berlin.
“Our stance is clear; we support Ukraine as much as possible. At the same time, we ensure that NATO does not become a party to the conflict, so that this war does not lead to a greater disaster. We are well aware of this responsibility, and no one can relieve us of this responsibility,” Scholz said.
