News is coming in that after the National Committee ended in
failure, Vazgen Maukyan has decided to form a new political force; no one
affiliated with any party or enjoying a poor reputation will be involved. Rumor
has it that Lecturer at the Faculty of Armenian Philology of YSU, Candidate of
Philology, Literary Critic Serzh Srapionyan also belongs to this force.
“I do not consider myself a leader or an organizer. I am
just an ideologue. Even if they turn to me with the aim of establishing such an
organization, I will demand that such people be involved who have a clear
vision as to how they are going to get the country out of this hole. First, I
should make sure that their vision complies with my beliefs. Only after that
will I make up my mind whether to join that organization or not,” Serzh
Srapionyan said to ABC Media.
Srapionyan said that he had not heard about such a political
force or organization before.
“I have learned about it from you. No one has turned to me
in that regard,” he concluded.
