Armenian history’s new textbooks with distorted history

Hayk, Utik, Atropatene, Syria and Azerbaijan. A map showing
the period of Tigranes the Great has appeared in the textbooks of Armenian
history, where Artsakh is represented as part of Azerbaijan.

Haykazun Alvrtsyan, Ph.D., says that the Soviet Union used to
follow such a policy on education: Textbooks showed that Armenia, Georgia and
Azerbaijan existed during the Urartian period.
