Ebrahim Raisi: Iran is ready to help Armenia and Azerbaijan resolve the conflict through dialogue

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi considers any geopolitical
change in the South Caucasus unacceptable. Citing IRNA news agency, Armenpress reports
that Raisi said this at his meeting with Armenian and Azerbaijani officials.

During his talks with Secretary of the RA State Council
Armen Grigoryan, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi underlined the importance of
respecting the territorial integrity of the countries of the Caucasus. He also
noted that Iran is ready to cooperate to ensure peace and stability in the region.

Raisi also does not accept any geopolitical changes in the
Caucasus, considering them a threat to the interests of the countries of the
region.

During his meeting with Special Representative of the
President of Azerbaijan Khalaf Khalafov, Raisi highlighted the necessity of
protecting the rights of Armenians in Nagorno-Karabakh. He also noted that Iran
is ready to help Armenia and Azerbaijan resolve the conflict through dialogue.

Raisi said that stability in the Caucasus depends on the
cooperation between the countries of the region, which, according to him, are
capable of settling regional issues.
