British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has called on Iran to refrain from responding to Israel’s strikes on its military facilities made on Oct. 26. Starmer has urged the parties to exercise restraint. “Israel has the right to defend itself against Iranian aggression. I also firmly believe that we must avoid further regional escalation and call on all parties to exercise restraint. Iran should not respond,” Sky News writes.
Starmer noted that the British authorities are closely monitoring the situation and will continue to work with allies to reduce tensions in the region.
