NATO presence in the South Caucasus region is unacceptable
to Iran. Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said this during his meetings with
Secretary of the RA State Council Armen Grigoryan and Special Representative of
the President of Azerbaijan Khalaf Khalafov.
“The Zangezur corridor will be the territory in the region
where NATO forces will be stationed. This is a threat to the national security
of the countries in the region. The Islamic Republic of Iran is against it,”
Raisi said.
