Zourabichvili: ‘Armenian carousel’ was used in Georgia

Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili announced that an “Armenian carousel” was used in the Georgian parliamentary elections.

In an interview with the Associated Press, Zourabichvili said: “We call it the ‘Armenian carousel”. I don’t know, maybe in Armenia they call it the ‘Georgian carousel’.”

According to her, the essence of this carousel voting is that some time before the elections, identity papers are confiscated from socially disadvantaged persons under various pretexts, and then used for voting. With one ID card and various electronic devices, this can be done even 17 times. They have obtained many identification cards and personal numbers.
