Class action brought against McDonald’s

McDonald’s was sued by consumers in a proposed class action stemming from the E.coli outbreak linked to onions in the fast-food chain’s Quarter Pounders, Reuters writes. Consumers have expressed dissatisfaction after visiting chains in October.

People demand compensation for the damages they suffered; the amount is not specified, but it does not exceed $5 million. According to the recorded cases, 49 people were infected, and one died.

To remind, cases of mass food poisoning were reported last week in the U.S. after eating at McDonald’s chains.
