At least 22 people have died in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of northern Pakistan after one of the buses in a wedding convoy plunged into a river, according to local newspaper Dawn.
Rescue teams have recovered 16 bodies from the water, and efforts are under way to locate the remaining people.
According to media reports, the bride, who was on the bus at the time of the incident, was injured but survived and has been hospitalized.
