Kim Jong Un calls on military to prepare for war
The armed forces of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) must be fully prepared for war, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un said during a meeting with commanders of the People’s Army brigades and political officials. Kim Jong Un noted that the United States and its South Korean allies have escalated tensions on the Korean Peninsula to a threatening level.
The North Korean leader has called for an increase in combat forces and enhancing the DPRK’s military and political advantage in the region. He referred to the actions of hostile forces as madness.
“We will continue to strengthen the state’s self-defense capabilities, with nuclear forces at the center, without any limits,” the DPRK leader said.
