Scholz: The conversation revealed that Putin’s stance on the war has not changed

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has described his phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin as rather important.

At the same time, Scholz noted that he found nothing in the Russian leader’s remarks that would indicate a change in Moscow’s stance regarding the Ukrainian conflict.

“The conversation was detailed, but I understood that little has changed in the views of the Russian president. This is not good news,” Scholz stated.
