People displaced from Artsakh are in poor health. Armenian
Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan said this in Goris.
“They were under a 10-month-long siege, suffered
malnourishment and were out of medicines for chronic diseases. Therefore,
administering first aid is of major importance. If, after this, the necessity
for hospitalization arises, patients are taken to hospitals by ambulance,”
Avanesyan said.
She noted that deaths were recorded on the way from Artsakh
to Armenia. People, especially older adults, had fatal strokes after being on
the way for more than an hour.
