Ahead of protests Pakistani Government restricts communication services

The Pakistani government has decided to partially restrict internet access and mobile communication services in Islamabad, as well as in certain areas of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces, ahead of the upcoming protests organized by the opposition Justice Movement, scheduled for Nov. 24, Geo TV reports.

As noted, these measures are intended to prevent the coordination of actions by opposition supporters during the protests.
