Putin threatening, while Ukraine in wait: The war enters critical stage
Hours ago, Russia launched its Oreshnik medium-range missile in response to Ukraine’s long-range strikes deep into Russia. The Russian-Ukrainian war has entered one of its most intense weeks since the conflict began. When the end of the conflict seemed to be near, everything got mixed up again. It all started when Biden allowed Ukraine to strike deep inside Russia with long-range weapons. Ukraine did not hesitate: the target was the Bryansk and Kursk regions. Then came the Russian president’s speech filled with threats: Russia will not hesitate to use new missiles as a punishment. According to Putin, after the attack by Western missiles, the conflict has acquired a global character. The enemy’s goals were not achieved; there were no casualties or serious destruction.
