UN reports weekly death toll of nearly 250 people in Lebanon

Lebanon is facing its highest daily death toll in decades due to an unprecedented humanitarian crisis, affecting more than 1 million people, the U.N. Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in Lebanon says.

Israel has been striking Hezbollah targets in Lebanon, as well as civilian buildings, with rocket fire affecting the entire country, including the capital, Beirut.
