Military expert arrested in Azerbaijan for filming positions near Armenian border

A military expert has been arrested in Azerbaijan for filming military positions along the Armenian border, Azerbaijani news agency APA reports.

The Prosecutor General’s Office of Azerbaijan has initiated a criminal case against Adalyat Verdiyev, who had been in the positions a few days before and subsequently published footage from there on social media.

He is accused of causing “serious harm to the interests, national security, and defense capability of the country.”
