Lithuania bans Bidzina Ivanishvili from entering country

Bidzina Ivanishvili, the founder of the Georgian Dream party, which won the parliamentary elections in Georgia, as well as 10 officials from Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs, including the minister, have been banned entry into Lithuania, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis said in an X post.

Landsbergis stated that entry into Lithuania is prohibited for Ivanishvili, Georgia’s interior minister, and nine other officials from the ministry due to allegations of human rights violations.
