Turkey has appointed a new ambassador to Azerbaijan, Turkish media reports, citing diplomatic sources.

Birol Akgun has reportedly been appointed as the new ambassador to Azerbaijan.

In addition to Azerbaijan, Turkey has appointed new ambassadors to Italy, Germany, the UAE, and Jordan.

Currently, the Turkish ambassador to Azerbaijan is Cahit Bagci.
