The majority of counterfeit consumer goods entering the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) market come from China, the U.S., the UAE, Turkey, Poland, Uzbekistan, and Georgia, Bakhyt Sultanov, member of the Board for Competition and Antimonopoly Regulation of the Eurasian Economic Commission, said.

“Counterfeit consumer goods include clothing and footwear, games and toys, auto parts, food products, alcoholic beverages, household appliances, and electronics, as well as accessories,” Sultanov noted.
