Kyrgyzstan’s Prime Minister Japarov removed from office
Kyrgyz Prime Minister Akylbek Japarov has been removed from his position as chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan and as head of the Presidential Administration. The relevant decree was signed by Sadyr Japarov, the country’s president, according to AKIpress news agency.
The duties of the prime minister will be carried out by First Deputy Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliyev.
Akylbek Japarov had served as prime minister of Kyrgyzstan since October 2021.
