Women and Leadership: Shushan Harutyunyan, Co-Founder of AxelMondrian, Hosts Charity Breakfast
Shushan Harutyunyan, Co-Founder and CEO of AxelMondrian, welcomed participants to a charity breakfast hosted by the 10:30 Club—a platform dedicated to fostering societal impact through the exchange of ideas and experiences. Proceeds from the online registration fees for these events are channelled into educational opportunities for youth from Armenia’s regions and Artsakh.
The event brought together young women and students to discuss leadership, career development, and social impact. Addressing the audience, Shushan Harutyunyan spoke candidly about the importance of resilience and self-determination.
“No matter how cliché it sounds, it’s crucial to believe in the greatness of your dreams. No one is coming to save you, encourage you, or solve your local problems. The world is preoccupied with global challenges. So, set your own agenda, and boldly present your ideas and solutions,” she remarked when asked about the unique challenges women face in Armenia.
The conversation delved into women’s leadership in the corporate world, with Shushan Harutyunyan sharing her journey of overcoming stereotypes and drawing lessons from her own career. She recommended key leadership books from her personal library and highlighted the importance of female solidarity, urging attendees to support one another in building a better, more equitable society.
