Earthquake 5.8 hits Argentina
An earthquake, measuring 5.8 on the Richter scale, has struck the northwestern province of Catamarca in Argentina, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reports.
The epicenter was located 46 km southeast of the city of Tinogasta, which is home to about 14,500 people. The epicenter was located at a depth of 131 km. There have been no reports of casualties or damage.
