Trump promises tax cuts for Canada if it joins US

Canadian citizens would pay 60% less in taxes if their country joined the United States; Canadian businesses would immediately double in size, and they would enjoy protection, U.S. President-elect Donald Trump said in a video address on Truth Social.

“The same holds true for the people of Greenland, which the United States needs for national security and which wants U.S. presence there—and we will be there,” Trump stated.

In addition, Trump extended Christmas greetings to everyone, including “to the wonderful soldiers of China, who are lovingly, but illegally, operating the Panama Canal.”
