Former Swedish prime minister: After the president’s inauguration, the situation in Tbilisi will reach its peak

The European Union and others need to decide who they consider the legitimate president in Georgia, Carl Bildt, former prime minister of Sweden and co-chair of the European Council on Foreign Relations, wrote on X.

“Mass protests continue in Tbilisi and other regions of Georgia. The situation will reach its peak after Dec. 29,” Bildt wrote.
