536 people arrested in Turkey for alleged links to Islamic State

Turkey’s law enforcement has carried out a large-scale operation against the Islamic State terrorist organization, Turkish NTV TV channel reports.

According to the source, the operation lasted for 12 days and covered 57 provinces across Turkey.

During the operation, 536 people were arrested. The arrested individuals are suspected of being members of the Islamic State or having ties to the terrorist organization.
