Armenian-populated cities in the grip of fire as wildfires strike US

A true disaster has hit California: The U.S. is facing the most powerful wildfire in the last 30 years. Among other cities, the viability of Armenian-populated cities such as Los Angeles, Glendale, and Pasadena is at risk. Schools have been closed, and more than thirty thousand people have been evacuated. Some residents remain in zones of danger, passports in hand, waiting for a possible evacuation. Armenian-populated cities have been left without power; evacuation efforts have already begun in many areas.
