EU supports Azerbaijan’s stance on comprehensive investigation of air crash

President of the European Council António Costa had a phone conversation with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on Jan. 9. Costa noted that the EU supports Azerbaijan’s position regarding a comprehensive investigation into the air crash.

During the phone conversation, the sides exchanged views on various issues in the transportation sector, particularly regarding transportation through the Trans-Caspian Middle Corridor, the project for creating a green energy corridor connecting the Caspian and Black Seas, as well as matters related to the export of Azerbaijani gas to EU member countries and cooperation in the energy sector.
