Israel arrests journalist from Iranian state TV in Gaza Strip

Israel has arrested a journalist from the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) in the Gaza Strip. He is currently in Israeli territory, IRIB Director-General Peyman Jebelli said.

“According to the information we have, the journalist has been captured and imprisoned by the Israeli regime. His family did not want to publicize the incident… He remains in captivity in the occupied territory, not in Gaza,” Jebelli’s statement was quoted by the ISNA news agency.
