Hamas delegation to visit Moscow

A Hamas delegation, led by Hamas Political Bureau Chairman Mousa Abu Marzook, will visit Moscow on Monday, RIA Novosti reports, citing sources from the delegation.

According to the news outlet, negotiations are planned at Russia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In late January, the Russian Foreign Ministry announced that Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov had discussed with Marzook the fates of Russian citizen Alexander Trufanov, who is held in Gaza, and Donbas resident Maxim Kharkin, expressing Moscow’s interest in their release.
