European Commission to provide assistance to Armenia, Belarus and Azerbaijan

The newly established Directorate-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations of the European Commission will manage the distribution of EU support to the Eastern Partnership countries.

“This Directorate-General will oversee the majority of the EU’s financial and technical assistance to enlargement countries, as well as to EU Eastern Neighborhood countries such as Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Belarus,” the European Commission said in a statement.
