Turkey to accept 15 released Palestinian prisoners on Erdogan’s instructions

Turkey will accept 15 released Palestinian prisoners, the TV channel Habertürk reports.

“Turkey has taken care of the Palestinians who have had to leave their country and depart. At the instruction of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Turkey will accept 15 of them,” the TV channel states.

Hamas released three civilian hostages on Feb. 1 as part of a ceasefire deal with Israel; the released individuals also hold French and U.S. citizenship.

Since Jan. 19, a ceasefire regime has been in place in the Gaza Strip as part of the deal reached between Israel and Hamas.
