What is behind Pashinyan’s visit to US?

More than 40 religious organizations and representatives from over 120 countries will gather in the United States from Feb. 3-7 for the Summit for Religious Freedom and the National Prayer Breakfast, in which Nikol Pashinyan will participate with his wife, Anna Hakobyan, Ararat Mirzoyan, and Arsen Torosyan.

At first glance, these seemingly innocent events are expected to feature politically significant meetings. However, the most important aspects remain in the shadows. Armenia’s participation in these so-called religious events has become a wedge in Armenian-Chinese relations and poses a threat to Armenian-Iranian relations.
