Greek prime minister to visit Turkey

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has given an interview to Turkey’s state news agency Anadolu Agency, where he addressed Greek-Turkish relations.

He noted that in April, on the margins of the High-Level Cooperation Council, Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is expected to visit Turkey. As part of the visit, a meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is also planned.

“It is important to resolve Turkish-Greek issues through dialogue, as there are several problems that we have inherited from previous generations. There are contentious issues for both sides. It is important to resolve them through negotiations,” Fidan said.
