Struggle over  ‘Zangezur corridor’ continues

The so-called “Zangezur corridor” benefits neither Armenia nor Iran. Tehran opposes any corridor-based logic, the Iranian ambassador to Armenia reaffirmed his country’s official stance. However, nothing is stopping Turkey and Azerbaijan from making statements laced with threats. These statements, combined with Trump’s signing of an anti-Iran memorandum, raise concerns for the security of Syunik.
