Azerbaijan encourages Georgia’s participation in 3+3 format meetings
Georgia’s participation in the 3+3 format meetings is encouraged at various levels, Ayhan Hajizadeh, Head of the Press Service of Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry, said in response to a query from Azerbaijani media.
He noted that it is still unknown where and when the next meeting in this format will take place.
To remind, the last meeting of the 3+3 consultative platform, aimed at strengthening relations among the countries of the region (Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia, Turkey, Iran, and Russia), was held on Oct. 18, 2024, in Turkey. Earlier, the Georgian side had announced that it would not participate in the 3+3 format in the context of its relations with Russia.
