In the 2023 World Weightlifting Championships, held in
Riyadh, the Armenian team took no medals.
On Sept. 15, 2023 European bronze medalist Hripsime
Khurshudyan and 2023 European silver medalist Tatev Hakobyan entered the area
in the women’s 87-kg category.
Tatev Hakobyan took fifth place with a total of 392 kg (105+132).
Hripsime Khurshudyan finished in sixth place with a total of 235 kg
(105+130).
