Abuse of power during election campaign; Artur Chakhoyan produces proof
During the campaign rally staged by the Civil Contract
party, I saw the principal of School N 141 and the Landscape Gardening and
Environmental Protection community NPO employees, who were in uniform. I
noticed that there were no young people there and understood that those people
were called up to attend the rally. And I claim it. Activist Artur Chakhoyan
said this on ABC Media, referring to the abuse of power during the electoral
campaign of the Yerevan Council of Elders.
According to him, 90–95% of the people who had gathered
there were employees of state agencies.
“I saw the denials, but they are ridiculous. Speeches were
even delivered at the National Assembly. And after that, they called me and
tried to intimidate me into deleting the video, where I captured the rally
participants. However, I made it public. After all, no strong denial has been
issued,” Chakhoyan said.
