3 medals in 7th European Junior Olympiad in Informatics

From Sept. 8 to Sept. 14, the 7th European Junior Olympiad
in Informatics (EJOI) was held in Kutaisi, Georgia. Ninth-graders Alex

The RA MoESCS reports that the Armenian team won three
medals. Alex Grigoryan received a gold, Alexander Ghazaryan won a silver and Vahan
Abrahamyan got a bronze. Makar Dilanyan received an honorable mention. Armen
Andreasyan and Samvel Andreasyan from YSU led the team.

Ninety-six students from 24 countries participated in the

International Olympiad in Informatics: each country could be represented by a
maximum of four students.

To remind, in the 6th European Junior Olympiad in
Informatics, which was held online in Ukraine in 2022, the Armenian team had
received one gold medal, two silvers and one bronze.
