37th anniversary of the Artsakh Movement: Unification for a cause
Thousands of Armenians took to the squares of Stepanakert and Yerevan. The struggle had one goal: reunification with Armenia.
Since February 1988, the primary forms of civil disobedience, protest, and demands have been peaceful rallies, demonstrations, marches, and hunger strikes—expressed through various slogans but without violence or clashes with law enforcement. The first demonstration took place on Feb. 12 in Hadrut, followed by a mass rally in Stepanakert the next day, with more than 80,000 participants.
