Galuzin: Moscow expects Azerbaijan to adhere to the principles of allied cooperation with Russia
Moscow expects Azerbaijan to remain committed to the principles of allied cooperation with Russia, RIA Novosti writes, citing Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin.
The deputy foreign minister commented on the changes in relations between the two countries, including the closure of the Russian House and the dissolution of the Sputnik news agency’s office in Azerbaijan.
“I am confident that Baku understands the importance of allied cooperation between our countries on the margins of the agreements reached by our leaders. I want to hope that the actions of our Azerbaijani partners will stem from an understanding of the key importance of implementing those agreements that encompass all aspects of our relations,” Galuzin told reporters.
He noted that the decisions of the leaders of the countries remain the basis for cooperation, and any actions that fall outside the allied framework should be excluded.
