Ombudsman’s office representatives visit Garik Galeyan

On Sept. 13, representatives of the Human Rights Defender’s
Office made an unannounced visit to the “Vardashen” criminal-executive
institution.

They held private conversations with detainees, including
Garik Galeyan, father of Mkhitar Galeyan, killed during the 44-day war. The
representatives of the Ombudsman’s office also examined the detainees’
conditions of detention and necessary papers.
