Pashinyan says which 2 points of peace treaty not agreed upon with Azerbaijan

One of the two unresolved articles of the peace treaty pertains to the deployment of third-country forces along the border, while the other concerns legal and other disputes in international courts, Nikol Pashinyan told reporters in the National Assembly.

“The peace treaty does not address issues regarding constitutional amendments or the corridor. Back then, when I said there should be a solution acceptable to the people of Karabakh, the people of Azerbaijan, I was putting forward a theoretical thesis that needed practical implementation; and no practical formulation was found for it. In this case, the difference is that a practical formulation has been found. One of the unresolved points pertains to the deployment of third-country forces along the border, and the other concerns legal and diplomatic disputes in international courts,” Pashinyan said.

Speaking about the possibility of escalation or war, he stated: “My assessment is that there are no reasons or preconditions for war or escalation in the region. All regional issues that exist have proposals for solutions. Some of those solutions have been made public, while others are at the diplomatic level. It is clear that there is no basis for escalation in the region.”
